Hi, I'm a Sydney-Jakarta based Graphic Designer and Illustrator. I'm keen on pop art and contemporary art culture, also passionate about drawing and creating illustrations. I deliver my ideas and thoughts through my design and illustration. I like to specialise in vintage and minimalist layout and aspire to interact with my audience visually.

The objective
To design a idiosyncratic magazine that holds an interest for select target audience.
The solution
A travel magazine with minimalist layout targeted to young adults. Experimenting page spreads with contrast between bold photography and minimal typography, relying on the effectiveness of negative space that reflects the idea of modernity.

Branding






The objective
Designing a brand for a Jakarta based record store.
The solution
Taking inspiration from pop art and Grateful Dead merchandise, personality of the brand is funky, colourful, and fun. A bold multicolour logo that is designed to look timeless and appealing. With the gummy bear character being the icon of the brand that can also be transferred to other marketing purposes such as merchandise and digital promotion.

The objective
Create three chapters of a book that is: original, complex multi-page, text heavy document and communicates ideas and concepts in a highly creative way.
The solution
Space themed booklet with a bold rustic approach. Typography, watercolour illustration and pastel palette unite to create an enjoyable booklet for the viewer. Each chapter is represented by different pastel colours that are colour coded on the contents page.

Poster design



The objective
Design a series of posters for National Institute of Dramatic Art that is used to promote the theatre program for 2020.
The solution
Taking inspiration from classical theatre posters from 30's and modernise it without losing its aesthetic. Focusing on art deco style typeface, illustration from that era, vintage filter, and poster structure are all key elements in forming the characteristics of the brand.
