Biography
I started my design career studying Visual Arts and Fashion at UEL University - Brazil and Universitá IUAV di Venezia - Italy. Both institutions helped me explore design in the traditional and contemporary ways.
My work is inspired by my Brazilian culture, as well as my feminist beliefs. My goal is to create work that entices social change, specializing in print and digital media with an interest in Illustration and Motion Graphics.

Piccolo Pasta
Logo and Packaging

The objective
Design a creative packaging solution for the mock company called "Piccolo Pasta" for three different types of pasta, each displaying a different colour scheme.
The solution
"Piccolo Pasta" comes from the Italian "small pasta". For this packaging, inspiration was drawn from the familiar chalk signs displayed in front of italian trattorias, restaurantes - all the information is written by hand with chalk, including the illustrations. Following more Italian heritage, the style of illustration and the kraft application was influenced by Renaissance sketches, such as da Vinci and Michelangelo. Futurismo - "parole in libertá", was applied in the logo and copy, creating movement within the chaotic hand drawn words.
"It's okay to enjoy the rain"
Book Publication

The objective
Compile three TED Talks transcripts with a unified theme into a book publication, extrapolating the limits of creativity.
The solution
The three TED talks each postulate an individual's thoughts through their experiences through psychological suffering. Encapsulated in a pedestrian moleskine notebook, the pages are imbued with emotions and thoughts unadulterated by prejudice. Type was set to illustrate the 'stream of consciousness' a person with mental indispositions such as anxiety, depression, borderline/bipolar disorder (BPD) and multiple personality disorder. The pages were filled with textural elements such as faded cutouts and portraits, symbolising the beauty yet fragility of the human condition. Materials used like stitching and pulp paper distinguish the organic nature or 'human touch' of the piece.
VAG Rounded
Typeface Poster

The objective
Design an impactful A3 typographic poster to showcase a font family.
The solution
As VAG is a rounded typeface, intertwining circles with primary colors were employed to create a venn diagram emphasising curvature through shape and colour. Each circle bore a single primary colour, as well as one size of typographical hierarchy; and when intercepted by opposing circles, the typeface utility and elegance is portrayed through this distinction. A classic typeface, one that is modern and versatile, elegant yet functional, resembles the attributes of the products its German inventor is renowned for.
NIDA
Rebranding

The objective
Transform NIDA's educational branch current brand into a new identity that reflects the Institute's professionalism and eclecticity.
The solution
The logotype was reworked into a refreshing and elegant organic form which embodies the path of constant change and growth that the students are faced within the Institute. A subtle green gradient was chosen as a key branding element, also heavily influenced by the fluidity of the learning process, showing how the student can swiftly transition from pupil to a fully formed professional. Overall, the design was inspired by lava, how it is first viscous but soon solidifies into absolute rock formations.
Nueair Airlines Booking App
Interactive

The objective
Design a new Australian-based airline, along with logo and style tiles, expanding into a full-fledged mobile booking experience.
The solution
The nue, a mythical japanese creature of the skies capable of transforming into a dark soaring cloud, was used as inspiration for the name, logo and colour scheme for the brand, as well as the aesthetic of the egasumi cloud pattern. The app wireframing is straightforward, intuitive and minimalist, valuing negative space as a rest for the user's eyes, in contrast to the other over informative booking apps that currently exist. The Getaways tool was created for those who still are unsure of their destination. With the help of crowdsourced pictures and a keyword based search engine, the user can choose the cheapest fare departing from any city.
