Giulia Gambacurta

I’m a designer who creates from human experience. Whether a brief relates to my own life or not, I search for the emotional insight at its core. I’m drawn to unconventional thinking and constantly ask myself: what is the most unexpected or niche perspective hidden within this brief? Those discoveries often become the foundation of my work.

Ordinary Happens/D&AD

Branding × Packaging

Created in response to the D&AD and Canesten brief, this campaign challenges taboos surrounding female intimate health. Through provocative censored visuals, posters, guerrilla interventions, and a campaign film, the project encourages audiences to question why these topics remain hidden and stigmatised.

Reset_

Pitch

A speculative design proposal imagining a state-controlled neural intervention as an alternative to death row. Framed as a pitch to the U.S. government, reset_ explores how design constructs persuasive futures while questioning rehabilitation, free will, and institutional power.

Lime as/is

Campaign

Inspired by a personal experience, as is is a temporary campaign activation that transforms Lime bikes into a bold social statement. After a moment that challenged my assumptions about status and desirability, the campaign uses vibrant colour and typography to encourage visibility, self-expression, and confidence in being enough as you are.
