This brief made me realise how a well-designed magazine allows readers to incorporate information quickly and without thoughts. I believe a magazine spread can be "digested" generally in one view because it's simple enough and without the need to overcomplicate its design.
We check the ingredients of the food we consume because we care about our health, but nobody knows exactly how much harm the mass production of our clothes does to our planet. We need people to know this so that they can change their behaviour and make more informed decisions.
Therefore we introduced an icon system tag, detailing the carbon emissions, water usage, transportation, and if chemicals, animals or recycled materials were used. A star rating is also introduced based on these parameters, using red, yellow and green, so you know straight away which garments to pick up and which to think about.
I gave this project a modern and minimalistic redesign to an already existing brand that needed to communicate to its consumers the premium nature of the product. This premium packaging wants to bring consumers on a trip to Japan. High-quality plant-based milk is what this brand produces. The company keeps in mind how much sustainability and organic farming matters.
In this project, I brought to life and redesigned an existing beer brand. I have simplified the look and strengthened its Italian origin and history, which were the main assets.
